In 2021, thanks to advances in research, a new treatment was released: Kaftrio. This treatment represents a true therapeutic revolution as it allows a significant number of patients to improve their respiratory capacity and regain a more acceptable daily life. However, this medication is only suitable for 65% of patients !
The challenge is therefore to continue advancing research so that a solution can benefit EVERYONE !
Thanks to the #MonDoubleEverest project and the support of each and every one of you, our goal is to raise awareness about this disease and gather as many donations as possible !
To achieve this, Vaincre la Mucoviscidose is implementing an additional initiative to its annual research project funding call, "DI-T-CAP," with a budget of one million euros per year for three years.
OUR AMBITION : Leave no patient without a therapeutic solution.
OUR OBJECTIVE : Raise 3 million euros to fund research for the benefit of patients ineligible for Kaftrio®.
